Old Gooner's thoughts on: Man City vs Arsenal

If 62% possession and 1 shot on target (plus 1 hitting the bar) doesn't suggest a teeny, weeny problem then, dear gooner mates, we do have a problem.

Unlike Sunday where men took on young men and gave them far too much to think about, at least it was men (again, about 200 millions worth) taking on the kids last night. And it showed.

Unlike AW I'm not sure that the result would have been all that different had we played at home purely because unlocking the "better" premier league defences appears to be a bit beyond us at the moment. With a clean sheet for City these days deserving a chorus of 'Blue Moon', it did seem as though we should be good for at least a couple but it's hard to score twice if you're not creating the chances.

At least we somehow managed to create the chances to give that twat Foy six entries on his yellow card. Not bad from 18 fouls maybe two of which deserved yellow. Unfortunately Song was one of them bringing his total up to five and a one match ban. Hopefully it will be for the Stoke game rather than the scallies.
